PURPOSE:To blow a cooling wind to the peripheral part of a printing head to inhibit and abrupt temperature increase inside the printing head by a method wherein an impeller provided outside a ribbon cassette is rotated to generate the wind by a ribbon running action for conducting a printing action. CONSTITUTION:An ink ribbon 4 contained in a cassette case 1 and a cassette cover 2 is made to circulate to a cassette case top end part 1a by rotating a feed roller 3. A fan 3a is formed on the periphery of the part of the feed roller 3 projected from the cassette cover 2. Therefore, the rotation of the feed roller 3 causes the running action of the ink ribbon, which rotates the fan 3a to cool a printing head. |
