PURPOSE:To allow the control of an exchange power substantially independently from the materials, film compsns. and film thicknesses of respective layers by dispersing fine nonmagnetic particles into the boundary of a 1st magnetic layer having perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and the 2nd magnetic layer exchange-coupled to the 1st magnetic layer. CONSTITUTION:The film nonmagnetic particles are dispersed to the boundary between the 1st magnetic layer having the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and the 2nd magnetic layer 3 exchange coupled to the 1st magnetic layer 3. The exchange power acts in this structure by as much as the part where the two magnetic layers 2, 3 come in direct contact with each other without via the fine nonmagnetic particles 4. The area where the exchange power acts is changed by changing the grain size and dispersion degree of the fine nonmagnetic particles 4. The control of the exchange power substantially independently from the materials, film compsns. and film thickness of the respective layers 2, 3 is possible in this way. |
