PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of the title antenna in a conductive layer so as to improve the gain of the antenna by forming the network formed on the surface of a dielectric layer of a superconductor. CONSTITUTION:The network of a plane antenna for high frequency is formed of a superconductor so that the gain of the antenna can be improved. When the conventional copper foil is used, the gain of the antenna cannot be improved further by all means even when the loss of the dielectric layer is reduced, because of the loss of the network, namely, the conductive layer due to the electric resistance of the copper foil. However, when the superconductor is used, the loss of the network can be eliminated and the gain of the antenna is extremely improved, because the electric resistance becomes zero below its critical temperature. Moreover, the superconducting layer can be formed extremely easily with high mass productivity when a melt-spraying method is adopted. |
