PURPOSE:To enable fiber reinforced plastic to be heated and cured uniformly by a method in which a fiber reinforced plastic molded object is brought in contact with and is fixed to the frame composed of the material generating heat by microwave, and the microwave is radiated on both the molded object and the frame, thereby generating heat also in the frame and heating and curing the molded object. CONSTITUTION:The panel 1 composed of the prepreg, etc. of silicon carbide fiber- reinforced epoxy resin is fixed into a frame 6. The top force 6b and the bottom force 6a of the frame 6 are both composed of almost same material as the material of the panel 1 to be heated and cured. After the panel 1 has been set in the frame 6, the panel is received in a microwave radiation device (electromic over) with the frame, and microwave is radiated on said panel. By this radiation, the temperature of the has section-stringer panel 1 of fiber reinforced plastic is raised due to its internally generated heat. Since the material of the frame receiving the panel 1 is also same as that of the panel, its temperature is similarly heightened due to internally generated heat, and said heat is transmitted to the panel. Consequently the panel 1 is heated from outside as well as from inside due to internally generated heat, whereby the temperature of the panel is uniformly heightened, and its uneven burning is prevented. |
