PURPOSE:To obtain the title material improved in heat resistance and interfacial adhesiveness by mixing a heat-resistant resin with an aromatic polyester fiber subjected to a specified surface treatment. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic polyester fiber is subjected to plasma etching by the action of a plasma generated by applying a high-frequency electric power to an inorganic gas or an organic gas in a vacuum of 0.1-2.0Torr to form irregularities on the surface. This fiber is immersed in a solution of an aminopolyamide of the formula (wherein R is hydrocarbon group of an unsaturated fatty acid dimer; l and m are each 1-8; and n is 1-5) having a concentration of 0.5-20wt.% and dried to obtain an aromatic polyester fiber (A) to which 0.05-5wt.% aminopolyamide is adhered. Component A is impregnated with 30-70wt.% heat-resistant resin (B) (e.g., epoxy resin) and dried to obtain a fiber- reinforced composite material. The predetermined number of such composite materials are laminated one upon another and heated at 150-200 deg.C for 1-5hr under a pressure of 10-150kg/cm<2> to obtain a laminated sheet. |
