PURPOSE:To execute normalization without executing program processing by providing the title circuit with a circuit for shifting processing data to the upper digit by one bit every time of looping of processing data by one period and a control circuit. CONSTITUTION:Processing data are stored in a data storing circuit 3. The processing data are inputted to the shift circuit 1 and shifted to the upper digit by one bit, shifted data are inputted to an arithmetic logical operation circuit (ALU) 2 and its operated result is inputted to a normalization end deciding circuit 4. Simultaneously with said input, an execution controlling counter 5 for controlling repeating operation increases its count number by '1' and the shifted data inputted to the ALU 2 are stored in a data holding circuit 3 as they are. Said repeating operation is repeated until the circuit 4 decides the end of normalization. Consequently, normalization can be rapidly executed without executing program processing. |
