PRODUCTION OF HUMAN FACTOR VIIIC USING AVIAN BETA-ACTIN PROMOTER

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce human factor WC in high efficiency by transforming an animal cell with an expression vector produced integrating a gene coding human factor WC at the downstream of avian beta-actin promoter. CONSTITUTION:An expression vector containing a gene coding human factor WC integrated at the downstream of avian beta-actin promoter is synthesized. An animal cell is transformed with the expression vector and the transformant is cultured. The human factor WC produced and accumulated in the cultured product is recovered therefrom. Preferably, the 3'-terminal (downstream) of the avian beta-actin promoter at least contains the gene from the translation initiation codon (ATG) of natural beta-actin structure gene to cytosine (C) situating 5 bases upstream of the ATG.
