METHOD FOR DISPERSING AND MIXING FINE POWDER

PURPOSE:To uniformly disperse a fine powder by adding balls or pellets composed of a material having specific gravity of 0.9-1.5g/cc and Rockwell hardness of M50-150 to the fine powder in a stirring container equipped with a stirring blade as a medium. CONSTITUTION:A fine powder is received in a stirring and mixing container equipped with a stirring blade and balls or pellets composed of a material having specific gravity of 0.9-1.5g/cc and Rockwell hardness of M50-150 are further added to the fine powder as a medium to disperse and mix the fine powder. As the stirring medium, plastic balls or pellets are used and a cooling jacket is mounted to the periphery of the stirring and mixing container or a blow-in port of dry low temp. gas is provided to said container to pref. hold proper temp. always.
