PURPOSE:To enable to record at a surface of the first color layer through a base or at a colored layer in accordance with the magnitude of an impressed signal voltage, by a method wherein the first color layer is provided on a transparent base, the second color layer and a colored layer are sequentially provided on the other side of the base, and a vapor-deposited metallic layer is provided thereon. CONSTITUTION:The first color layer 2 is provided on one side of the transparent base 1, the second color layer 3 (e.g., a white color layer) for masking or suppressing the color of the layer 2 is porvided on the other side of the base 1, a matted colored layer 4 consisting of a material having a melting point lower than that of the layer 3 is provided thereon, and the vapor-deposited metallic layer 5 is further provided thereo, followed by providing a surface protective coat layer 6 if required, to obtain the spark discharge recording sheet. When the impressed signal voltage is low, the colored layer 4 is exposed through a broken hole 7, so that a character or the like colored in red, for example, is visualized. On the other hand, when the voltage is high, the base 1 is exposed through a broken hole 8, so that a character or the like colored in black, for example, is visualized. |
