PURPOSE:To suppress conspicuous image flowing and background stains even at the time of long time uses by dispersing a metal oxide powder having an average particle diameter of 0.4-2.0mum into a binder resin to form a surface protective layer. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by successively laminating on a conductive substrate a photoconductive layer, and the surface protective layer containing the metal oxide powder having an average particle diameter of 0.4-2.0mum dispersed into a binder resin. The average particle diameter of said powder can be optionally controlled by changing the dispersing time, the diameter of beads, and the like, thus permitting superior images free from image flowing and background stains to be stably obtained, even at the time of long time uses, irrespective of a change in the environment. |
