PURPOSE:To enhance photographic characteristics, more particularly the sensitivity and max. density of a yellow color forming layer and to lower the min. density by incorporating at least one kind of specific silver halide emulsions and yellow couplers into the above material and incorporating at least one kind of org. preservatives into a color developing soln. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the silver halide emulsions contg. >=80mol% silver chloride and at least one kind of the yellow couplers expressed by the formula I are incorporated into at least one layers and at least one kind of the org. preservatives are incorporated into the color developing soln. The amt. of the color developing soln. to be replenished at the time of continuous processing is so determined as to be in a 20-150ml range per 1m<2> silver halide color photographic sensitive material. In the formula I, R<12> denotes an alkyl group or aryl group; R<11> denotes an N-phenyl carbamoyl group; X<11> denotes a group which can be eliminated at the time of coupling reaction with the oxidant of a color developing agent. The photographic characteristics, more particularly the sensitivity and max. density of the yellow color forming layer are enhanced and the min. density is lowered in the continuous processing. |
