PURPOSE: To obtain a high-density and high-strength film which is hardly worn or cracked by combining a first developer material as a thermoplastic fine vinyl polymer or acrylic polymer having a developer part of a thermoplastic fine phenolic resin as the side chain or an acrylic polymer and a second developer material. CONSTITUTION: The first developer material contained is a thermoplastic phenolic resin, and the second developer material is a thermoplastic fine vinyl resin or acrylic resin having a developer part as the side chain. The first and second developer materials have enough compatibility to form a film when heated and fused to each other. Accordingly, when a transparent substrate is coated with the developer composition, a developer useful to obtain a transparency is obtained. In this case, the refractive index of the first developer material is sufficiently equal to that of the second one, and the film formed by fusion is transparent or substantially transparent. Consequently, a high-density developer composition useful to form a high-gloss picture and resistant to wear is obtained. |
