PURPOSE:To obtain the subject lightweight composition excellent in gas barrier properties, transparency and mechanical strength and good in moldability, etc., and applicable to draw molded bodies by blending a polyhydroxy polyether resin with a specific amount of a copolyester resin. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by blending (A) 5-10wt.% polyhydroxy polyether resin expressed by the formula (R' is bifunctional aromatic hydrocarbon group) with (B) 5-12wt.% copolyester resin consisting of (B1) dicarboxylic acid constituent units consisting of isophthalic acid component units and terephthalic acid component units, (B2) dihydroxy compound constituent units consisting of a dihydroxyethoxyresorcinol component units and ethylene glycol component units and (B3) polyfunctional hydroxy compound constituent units having >=3 hydroxy groups and (C) 78-90wt.% polyethylene terephthalate resin. |
