PURPOSE:To reduce errors in the detection of recorded data information by increasing the coercive force of servo information recording regions so as to reduce the immoderate running of a head and the extent of off-track. CONSTITUTION:Data information recording regions 15 and servo information recording regions 16 are formed on a substrate 6 with a sputtered thin film of Co.gamma-Fe2O3. At this time, by making the Co content of the regions 16 1-2atm% higher than that of the regions 15, the coercive force of the regions 16 is made 1.2-1.3 times that of the regions 15. |
