PURPOSE: To embody reliable operation, ease of handling and the exact directing of spray streams by positioning a grip surface of a trigger means near the cylindrical wall of a container in order to ergonomically hold, guide and operate a sprayer. CONSTITUTION: When an operator securely holds the container (sprayer) 1 and applies pressure on a finger contact surface 9, the entire part of the trigger means 6 rotates. An intermediate part 7, then, comes into contact with the contact surface 4 of a spray head 3 and depresses the trigger means 6, thereby opening the discharge valve of the sprayer 1. The bottom end edge of a protective cap 15 is provided with a projection 21 to prevent the opening of the discharge valve of the sprayer 1 by the engagement of the protective cap 15 with the rear side of the free end 8 of the trigger lever 6 and the pressing of the finger contact surface 9 when this cap is installed on the container 1. The respective sides of the intermediate parts 7 are provided with projections 11 of a hemispherical shape or pin shape to be fitted into the recessed parts 10 of the head 3 in order to exactly position the head 3 with respect to the trigger lever 6. |
