<p>PURPOSE:To load subsequently received data in a receiving buffer before picture information is completely outputted to a picture display device by converting the picture information into an intermediate picture information representing the current picture conditions of the picture display device as the picture of a virtual display device, developing it to a picture buffer, and controlling it. CONSTITUTION:The picture information received from a picture information supplying device 11 with respect to the form thereof is fetched in the receiving buffer 17. Then, instead of being outputted directly to the picture display device 13 by a picture display device output means 1A, it is converted by a picture buffer developing means 18 into the intermediate picture information representing the current picture conditions of the picture display device 13 as the picture of the virtual display device, so as to be developed into the picture buffer 19 and controlled. As a result, subsequent picture information can be received from the picture information supplying device before the picture information of the receiving buffer is completely outputted to the picture display device 13. In addition, even when power for the picture display device 13 is turned off, picture conditions immediately before that are reproduced when the power is turned on again.</p> |
