<p>PURPOSE:To dissolve the annoyance in operation as well as obtain the sound operation by operating at the off time of a starter switch for an internal combustion engine and providing a reflection sensor for outputting non-embarkation detecting signals at the non-embarkation time of a rider so as to control the running by the non-embarkation detecting signals. CONSTITUTION:When a combined engine starter and stop switch 11 is positioned at starter on, a cancel switch 16 discriminates on-off. If it is on, because an engine cover 8 is come off, a starter motor becomes off. When the cancel switch is off, a reflection sensor 12 is operated and outputs supersonic wave within the detection area. When a rider is detected within the area, the starter starts, but when a rider is not detected, non-detecting signals are outputted to a control box 9 and the starter operation becomes inhibited. The rider's annoyance is dissolved by this structure as well as the sound operation is obtained.</p> |
