PURPOSE:To reduce a running cost of an ink supply type printer and to decrease a noise by forming the ends of movable wires of magnetic materials, disposing a magnet at the aligning end of the material oppositely to a recording sheet, and providing ink supply means having a slitlike ink nozzle for supplying magnetic ink to the end of the aligning end at the side of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic materials 2a-2n provided at the ends of movable wires 1a-1n are magnetized by a magnet provided at the rear ends thereof to generate magnet poles thereby to immediately attract magnetic ink supplied from the slitlike ink nozzles 12a of ink supply means to the ends of the materials 2a-2n to form an ink layer 27. Accordingly, when the wires 1a-1n are operated, dots of the ink are formed on a recording sheet 29. When the wires 1a-1n are returned to the original aligning positions, the ink is again attracted to the ends of the materials 2a-2n to become a standby state. |
