摘要 PURPOSE:To perform high-efficient operation throughout the range from a low temperature to a high temperature by a method wherein a refrigerant separating means is provided in each freezing cycle; i.e. when water in a hot water feed tank is a low temperature mode, operation is effected by means of a low boiling point refrigerant together with each freezing cycle; in an intermediate temperature mode, operation is effected by means of a non-azeotropic mixture refrigerant; while in a high temperature mode, a first freezing cycle is effected by means of a low boiling point refrigerant and a second freezing cycle by means of a high boiling point refrigerant. CONSTITUTION:In a low temperature mode, a 3-way valve 8 is switched to the heat exchanger 6 side on the utilization side, and heat is applied on a heating pipe 28 of a refrigerant separating means IA. A 3-way valve 9 is switched to the heat exchanger 4 side on the heat source side, an ON-OFF valve 13 of a refrigerant separating means IIA is brought into an OFF-state, an ON-OFF valve 14 is brought to an ON-state, the cold heat is applied on a cooling pipe 26, and heat is applied on a heating pipe 27. In an intermediate temperature mode, the 3-way valves 8 and 9 and ON-OFF valves 12-14 are brought into the same state as that in a low temperature mode, heating to the heating pipes 28 and 27 is suspended. In a high temperature mode, the 3-way valves 8 and 9 are both switched to the refrigerant - refrigerant heat exchanger 5 side. The ON-OFF valve 13 is brought into an ON-state and the ON-OFF valve 14 into an OFF-state. The heating pipe 27 is heated, and the cooling pipe 26 is cooled.
