PURPOSE: To make he apparatus easy to use by providing the front end of a conduit with a flexible plastic cup fitting to the neck of uterus and connecting a cone having a nose which advances into the inlet of the cervical duct when the inside of this cup is evacuated to the conduit at the center of the bottom of the cup. CONSTITUTION: The peak part of a handle H which has the conduit CC and is formed along the longitudinal axis is provided with the cup C to be fitted into the neck of uterus. The cup C is formed to a cylindrical shape at its front end and formed circular toward the base part CB. This base part CB is hollowed and is arranged on an outlet CO. When vacuum is impressed at the conduit CV by a negative pressure device, suction is generated and the mucous membrane of the neck of uterus is pressed to the end of the cup and the neck of uterus is pushed into the cup. The diameter of a; pipe CN increases stepwise and this pipe is sealed into the canalis cervics uteri. When the inner cone CN is pushed into the canalis cervics uteri, the pipe is further strongly sealed. A catheter, optical fiber or the like is inserted through the central conduit CC. As a result, the circular muscular system of the uterine is extended by the pressure acting on the wall of the canalis cervics uteri, by which the expansion of the canalis cervics uteri is naturally executed. |
