A connecting device for a wiper system has an actuating arm, at the front end of which is rotatably attached a wiper blade by means of a first element, and a control arm of which the front end is also rotatably attached to the first element by means of a second element. The second element is made of a flexible material, has an elongate form and in its central portion it has a substantially circular cross-section. Preferably, the central portion of the second element has a cross-section substantially smaller than at its two extremities.
