<p>PURPOSE: To easily collect the light wave conductor of a bundled coated optical fiber as each element by pulling out the coated optical fiber from a storage case, cutting a hose in the axial direction, and guiding the light wave conductor along a protecting member side opposite to a cutting tool. CONSTITUTION: A bundled coated optical fiber 2 is pulled out from a table 1 by a carrying device 5, and guided by a measuring device 6 which decides the movement of the bundled coated optical fiber 2. At the time of driving without any failure, the bundled coated optical fiber 2 is moved to a cutting device 7 by the carrying device 5, and a hose 3 is cut with a knife 14 in the axial direction. A light wave conductor 4 included in the bundled coated optical fiber 2 passes through a protecting member 13 of the cutting device 7, and the hose 3 is pulled out outside through the protecting member 13. The light wave conductor 4 is pulled out through a cleaning device 11, and wound around a spool 8 in each controlled number of winding. Thus, the light wage conductor 4 of the bundled coated optical fiber 2 can be exposed from the surrounding hose 3, and can be used for reuse.</p> |
