PURPOSE: To provide a pump with a high flexibility and low aromatic absorption by having at least one component comprising terpolymer such as ethylene, propylene and diene. CONSTITUTION: When a rod 2 is pulled by an actuator 9 toward the top portion of a pump, a piston 3 is pulled by the rod 2. As a result, a paste is pushed out from an outlet 4. The piston 3 has a sealing lip 16 which is flexible in a practical use. Materials for main unit components comprise a terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and diene which shows excellent flexibility and low aromatic absorption compared with other resilient high molecules or materials such as PP, PET and PE. In addition, the component is characterized by expanding less even in contact with an aromatic compared with other resilient high molecules. This is important for achieving the dimension stability in the internal components such as valves and pistons. |
