PURPOSE:To simplify the message communication system, to make the system small in size and to reduce the cost by selecting kind of a corresponding medium and a parameter group by a message processing unit depending in a reception destination number included in a message and applying medium conversion based on the parameter group. CONSTITUTION:A processing unit 12 analyzes a reception data coming from a terminal equipment 13a, extracts a terminal name HB of the transmission destination and extracts the conversion parameter group (h) corresponding to the name HB from a RAM 12d. Succeedingly, the kind information B of the medium of the reception destination from the group (h). The kind information A of medium is extracted from the reception data. Then the data of the medium A is converted into a medium B by a medium converter 12C based on the conversion parameter group (h). Then the data of the medium B is set from the processing unit 12 to the terminal equipment 13b. Thus, no medium conversion function is required for the terminal equipment and one function is enough for an exchange. |
