PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble of a processing tank, the defective processing of a printing plate, etc., by detecting whether interleaving paper is stuck to photosensitive lithographic printing plates or not and generating an alarm when the sticking of the paper is detected at the time of stripping said printing plates which are superposed on each other via the interleaving paper for protection by each sheet and inserting the plates into a processing device. CONSTITUTION:Whether the interleaving paper sticks to the plate surface is detected by a detector 94 at the time of inserting the PS plate 12 on which images are printed to a pair of transporting rollers 22. A contact type detecting sensor is used for the detector 94 and the two terminals of a contactor 158 is brought into contact with the rear surface of the PS plate 12 when the PS plate 12 passes along the sensor. The resistance value between the terminals is then measured and whether the rear surface of the PS plate 12 is a metal or interleaving paper is detected. The transportation of the PS plate 12 is stopped and the alarm is outputted simultaneously from an alarm device 96 when the sticking of the interleaving paper is decided. An operator, therefore, removes the interleaving paper held stuck to the PS plate 12 and continues the operation. |
