PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound useful as a raw material for agricultural chemicals, etc., in a short time in high yield under a mild condition by reacting a specific halogenated aromatic compound with an alkali metal fluoride in the presence of a polymer immobilized aminopyridinium salt derivative catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A halogenated aromatic compound shown by formula II (n is 1-5 integer; Y is cyano, nitro, trifluoromethyl, etc.) is reacted with an alkali metal fluoride in the presence of a polymer immobilized aminopyridinium salt derivative catalyst shown by formula I (P is polymer supporting material by polystyrene skeleton; R<1> is alkylene; R<2> and R<3> are alkyl; X is halogen) to give an aromatic fluorine compound shown by formula III (Z is cyano, nitro, trifluoromethyl, formyl, etc.; m is 1-5 integer; n' is 0-4 integer; m+n'=n). |
