<p>PURPOSE:To reduce collision in a banyan network and to improve transmission efficiency by providing a main and a sub switching circuits with the same constitution on different planes, and connecting a packet to the sub switching circuit when the collision is generated in a bus connecting switches in the main switching circuit. CONSTITUTION:In an ordinary operation, the packet having switching information at its header is added on the main switching circuit 1, and a switching operation is performed by the switching information, and the packet is sent to a targeted output terminal. At this time, when the collision is generated in the circuit 1 due to the addition of plural packets on the same bus, the switch 3 just before generating the collision performs connection so as to transmit the packet on one side to the sub switching circuit 2. In such a way, it is possible to prevent overlapped connection in the bus from being generated, and to improve the transmission efficiency.</p> |
