PURPOSE:To execute gumming at the time of re-entry in a sufficiently desired state by processing a photosensitive planographic printing plate by using circulating water or a circulating rinse liquid of a specific pH value. CONSTITUTION:An automatic developing machine 1 is provided with a development processing part 2, a rinse processing part 3 and a gumming processing part 4, and also, provided with a mechanism which can execute a gumming processing again by leading a photosensitive planographic printing plate into a device from a re-entry part 6. In this state, the photosensitive planographic printing plate which has been developed by the automatic developing machine 1 and has been gummed is corrected, and thereafter, when gumming is executed to this photosensitive planographic printing plate by the gumming mechanism, the printing plate is brought to rinse processing by circulating water or a circulating rinse liquid of <=12.5pH before gumming of the second time is executed. In such a way, the washing efficiency for the plate surface is improved, it becomes effective to make it fat non-sensitive, and gumming is executed in a sufficiently desired state. |
