ROUTE GUIDE SYSTEM IN MOVING BODY COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To make it possible for a mobile station to guide a subscriber's vehicle to a destination even if a center does not monitor the traveling route of the mobile station by resending a transmission request for an optimum route from the mobile station to the center at the time of missing the advancing route. CONSTITUTION:When the mobile station mounted on the subscriber's vehicle 12 requests the transmission of route guide information, the request is informed to the center 26 through a communication line network 22. The center 26 selects an optimum route to be traveled by the mobile station under the consideration of a traffic flow state and sends the selected route to the mobile station as the optimum route information. The mobile station guides the route based on the optimum route information and base station information transmitted from a road station 10. At the time of recognizing the missing of the required route by collating the base station information with the optimum route information, the mobile station resends a route guide information sending request to the center 26.
