摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain an element with an image area having a refractive index different from that of a non-image area after exposure to chemical radiation by using specified components in a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION: This compsn. contains 25-75wt.% solvent-soluble thermoplastic polymer binder, 5-60wt.% liq. ethylenic unsatd. monomer and 0.1-10wt.% optical initiator system initiating the polymn. of the unsatd. monomer when exposed to chemical radiation, has high shelf stability and forms an index image when exposed to chemical radiation. A photosensitive element having superior sensitivity to chemical, radiation and forming a high luminance hologram is obtd. using this compsn.
