APPARATUS FOR CELL FUSION

PURPOSE:To control combination of cells to be fused and surely carry out cell fusion by specifying positions of respective cells to be crossed and subjecting the cells in a forced contact state to cell fusion treatment. CONSTITUTION:A cell suspension containing cells 1 to be crossed is filled in a container 6 to adsorb the cells 1 in adsorbing holes 7 of a cell adsorption plate 3. The cells remaining in the container 6 are then washed away. Cells 2 to be crossed are similarly adsorbed in adsorption holes 8 of a cell adsorption plate 4 and the adsorption plates are moved to a position where the cells 1 and 2 contact. Thereby, cell fusion treatment is carried out.
