PURPOSE:To improve an antistatic effect, and to continue the effect for a prolonged term by adding an antistatic agent composed of a surface-active agent into a coating liquid in an emulsion type with wax. CONSTITUTION:An antistatic agent consisting of a surface-active agent is added into a coating liquid for an under layer and/or a back layer in an emulsion type with wax. An agent made up of anion group and nonion group surface-active agents is preferable as the antistatic agent composed of the surface-active agent because it is held in emulsion in the type of stable wax emulsion. Ester wax, carnauba wax, etc. particularly have a polar group and the excellent stability of emulsion and are used preferably from the viewpoint of the durability of an effect and transfer characteristics as wax. A remarkable antistatic effect is recognized in the measurement of surface resistance using an ultra- insulation resistance tester or the measurement of the half life of the quantity of charge employing a charge-quantity measuring instrument in a thermal transfer ribbon with such under layer and/or back layer. |
