PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition which contains a sufficient amount of vinca alkaloid in a macromolecular protein matrix dispersed in an aqueous medium and can be dosed to intracranial tumors or to its peripheral tissues possibly including the tumor cells. CONSTITUTION: This composition contains a physiologically permissible macromolecular protein matrix (particularly collagen or fibrinogen is suitable) dispersed in an aqueous medium, and a sufficient amount as an active ingredient of vinca alkaloid (particularly vinblastine and vincristine are suitable). This matrix substantially inhibits the movement of the medicine from the administration position and the main action of the medicine is maintained within the administration position (intracranial tumors and their surroundings), whereby the nervous disturbance caused by almost drugs can be alleviated. In addition, a vasoconstrictor, for example, epinephrine or norepinephrine is preferably added to this composition.
