PURPOSE:To allow the faster and stabler formation of a polymerized image having good contrast by incorporating a polymerizable polymer precursor having >=35 deg.C m.p. into the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body contains the component to form the distribution of the component which is sensitized and is heat-developed by image exposing and heating and exerts influence on the polymn. characteristic of a photopolymerizable element according to said image exposing and the component which is polymerized by exposing of light in the same layer 1. Said body is exposed by light having 400-900nm wavelength region, is heated to 60-180 deg.C and is exposed by light having 250-700nm wavelength region. The photosensitive body which is polymerized in an unexposed part 4 by the light having 400-900nm wavelength to form a polymerized part 6 contains the polymerizable polymer precursor having >=35 deg.C m.p. as the photopolymerizable element. The polymerized image having the excellent contrast, resolution, etc., is obtd. in this way.
