The present invention relates to a device for regulating the flow of vehicles in a kinematic-chain transport system of the funicular type. This transport system consists of a plurality of movable units fixed intermittently to a first hauling cable and connected to one another by means of a second cable producing a variation in the speed of the said vehicles. This speed variation is obtained by means of a system of variable links, of the type having a reel for the winding or unwinding of flexible ties, which system consists, for each link, of bogies equipped with drums 17 for the winding of the said flexible ties, or variable-speed cables, which drums 17 are driven in rotation by means of rollers 18 rolling on guide ramps having a special profile. The regulating device consists of a set of two cams 1, 2 articulated on one another to form a hump or dihedron, the position or angle of which is variable under the effect of a drive member, so as to act on the winding of the said variable-speed cables around the drums and thus modify the law of speed of the vehicles. <IMAGE>
