PURPOSE:To obtain the toner which has a spherical shape and good electrical characteristics by forming the toner into the laminated structure in which fine particles are fixed to the surface of resin base particles. CONSTITUTION:This toner is made into the laminated structure consisting of the inside layer which consists of fine magnetic pigment particles 2 stuck with the fine magnetic pigment particles 2 on the surface of the resin base particles 1 by forcibly imparting compressive force and friction force thereto and the outside layer which consists of the fine resin particles 3 fixed onto the inside layer in the stage of mixing the resin base particles and the fine particles consisting essentially of the magnetic pigments. The spherical magnetic toner is formed by using the resin base particles 1 having 1-30mum average grain size, the magnetic particles 2 on the surface of which have 0.001-1.0mum average grain size and further the resin particles 3 on the outside thereof have 0.01-0.1mum average grain size and by forming these particles to the laminar state. The electric resistance of the toner is high and the image having a high resolution is obtd. |
