PURPOSE:To obtain the nonmagnetic toner for a two-component developer having high image densities and excellent fine line reproducibility and gradation characteristic by specifying the grain size, content and grain size distribution of the nonmagnetic toner particles. CONSTITUTION:The nonmagnetic toner particles in which the nonmagnetic toner particles having <=5mum grain size are incorporated at 17-60 number % and the nonmagnetic toner particles having 8-12.7mum grain size are incorporated at 1-30 number % and which has >=16mum grain size are incorporated into the toner at <=2.0vol.%. The volume average grain size of the nonmagnetic toner is 4-10mum and the nonmagnetic toner particle group of <=5mum has the grain size distribution satisfying the formula I. In the formula I, N is the number % of the nonmagnetic toner particle having <=5mum grain size; V is the vol.% of the nonmagnetic toner particle having <=5mum grain size, and k denotes 4.5-6.5 positive number. N denotes 17-60 positive number. The image having excellent reproducibility is obtd. in this way. |
