PURPOSE:To diversely and accurately monitor a change in a phychotonic degree by a method wherein the periodicity relating to the contraction activity of the heart of an examinee is measured to detect a periodically appearing specific wave and calculating the average of the interval row of the specific wave and the magnitude of the respiratory component of the variation of the interval row to set and display index value of phychotonic degree. CONSTITUTION:The first measuring means for measuring an electrocardographic waveform is constituted of an electrocardiogram detecting electrode 21 and a living body ampifier 22 and a detection means for detecting the specific wave periodically appearing in the electrocardiographic waveform, in this case, an R-wave is constituted of an electrocardiogram R-wave detection pulse generating circuit 23 and a digital input device 25. A microcomputer 34 is constituted of the second measuring means for measuring the generation interval of the R-wave, the first processing means for calculating an index value of phychotonic degree and the second processing means for calculating a reliability evaluation value and controls not only the output of the index value of phychotonic degree the reliability evaluation value but also the operation of a respiration stabilizing means. The respiration stabilizing means is realized by a rhythm/melody generation circuit 32 and a speaker or earphone 33 and the display of the index value of psychentonia and the reliability evaluation value is realized, for example, by a liquid crystal display 29. |
