PURPOSE:To improve productivity and to eliminate the adverse influence on the human body by subjecting the surface of a front surface side coating layer coated with a photographic emulsion of the coating layer contg. a polyolefin resin as an essential component to an activation treatment and forming a gelatin under coating layer on this surface. CONSTITUTION:This base has a sheet-like base body and the coating layers which are formed on both faces of the sheet-like base body and contain the polyolefin resin as the essential component. The surface of the front surface side coating layer coated with the photographic emulsion layer of the above- mentioned coating layers is activated by the activation treatment. Further, the gelatin under coating layer having 0.001-0.01g/m<2>, more preferably 0.004-0.009g/m<2> dry weight and contg. gelatin as an essential component is formed on the surface subjected to the activation treatment. The generation of blocking is suppressed and the amt. of the under coating layer to be coated is suppressed; in addition, the sterilization effect of decreasing the number of live bacteria is obtd. |
