The invention makes it possible to construct borders with a machine with automatic progression using moulds of various shapes. The figure represents the machine in section. The concrete placed in a hopper 1 descends onto the endless screw 5 which pushes it into the mould situated in its housing 4 and fixed to the framework by supports 3 thus pushed when the mould is full; the concrete makes the machine slide on its runner 19 and the wheels 16. The motor 8 and its gearing 7 drive the screw 5 and are placed in a casing 2, as is the bearing 6 of the screw. A vibrator 30 makes it possible to reduce the speed of the motor 8 and thereby that of the endless screw 5. The screw 5 is coupled by its shaft 17 directly with the gearing 7. The mechanical part is connected to the steering system by a connection plate 18 which slides in slideways in order to divert the system either to the right or to the left. The steering system is composed of a wheel 16 surmounted by a machine support 10 in which is situated an endless screw connected to the levelling controls 9. A steering column and its arm 13 make it possible to control the wheels 16 by means of the steering lever 11; a locking screw 12 makes it possible to keep a given direction. The steering knob support arms 15 are connected together by means of a rod 23 fixed onto the knobs 14. The rod 23 is connected to the steering column 13 by a pin keyed to its arm. A device composed of a tank with several compartments, in which different coloured paints to be put on the border by brushes fixed under the tank are placed, is situated above and to the rear of the mould. The system is suitable for professionals such as regional, municipal and rural technical departments. The device can also be used by an individual who desires to work in this field. <IMAGE>
