<p>PURPOSE:To allow a card type electronic appliance to be inserted into a terminal equipment as it is and to improve the value of the card by providing the card unitedly with a collating function and a calculating function and exposing metallic contacts connected to the terminal equipment from through-holes for metallic contacts of a reinforced sheet forming also a through-hole for a display body. CONSTITUTION:The upper surface of an appliance case 10 of the card type electronic appliance is coverted with an upper face sheet 13 consisting of flexible and transparent resin or the like and a printed wiring board 20, a super-thin type display body 30 and a paper-like battery 40 are arranged under the sheet 13. The board 20 is formed by a flexible material and fixed contacts (key contacts) 23 constituted of pairs of contacts 23a, 23b... corresponding to respective key displays 131, 132 on the sheet 1 are arrayed. Plural metallic contacts 70 are arrayed on the same face of the substrate 20, through-holes 20a, 20b are perforated on the substrate 20 and an integrated circuit chip 21 for calculation and an integrated circuit chip 22 for the collation of an identification code are inserted into the through-holes 20a, 20b to form a prescribed wiring pattern consisting of a conductive foil 26.</p> |
