<p>PURPOSE:To realize a heart rate meter generating no large irregularity in a measured heart rate value by a method wherein heartbeat pulses of a plurality of determined cycles are measured when a heart rate per a min is converted from a heartbeat cycle and heartbeat cycles are averaged to be converted to a heart rate. CONSTITUTION:The heartbeat pulse 9 outputted from a heartbeat sensor is passed through an one-shot pulse generating circuit 1 to obtain a shaped one-shot pulse 10 which is, in turn, inputted to a main control part 2. The main control part 2 outputs a count gate signal 4 so as to open a count gate only for one heartbeat cycle and a count clock 17 is inputted to a counter part 5 at 256Hz only for one heartbeat cycle. Heart rate conversion data 22 is outputted by a heart rate converting circuit 6 and a heart rate value is caught by a latch clock 12 and latch data 23 is inputted to a display circuit to finish the first measurement of a heart rate for one heartbeat cycle. In the measurement on and after the second time, the count gate signal 14 is outputted so as to open the count gate for two heartbeat cycles and the count clock 17 of 128Hz is inputted to the counter part 5 for two heartbeat cycles.</p> |
