PURPOSE:To use the title medium as an optical card and to bring an optical recording layer into close contact with other layer without deterioration of optical properties of the recording layer by providing a dye protective layer made of synthetic or natural resin between the recording layer containing organic dye and an adhesive layer containing organic dye decoloring operation. CONSTITUTION:A protective layer 1, a transparent board 2 having transmission for a light to be written or read, an optically recording layer 3 containing organic dye, a dye protective layer 6, an adhesive layer 7 having an operation for decoloring the organic dye, and a supporting board 8 are sequentially laminated. The layer 6 is provided partly on the layer 3, the part 5 of the layer 3 in contact with the layer 7 becomes an optically recording region, and the part 4 in contact with the layer 6 becomes an optically recording region. Since the layer 6 made of synthetic or natural resin is provided in a predetermined range next to the layer 3 containing the organic dye to form the region 4, it prevents the organic dye in the region 4 from deteriorating or age-changing due to the active side chain or functional group of the adhesive of the layer 7. |
