NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I {R<1> is lower alkyl or CF3; R<2> is cycloalkylidenemethyl, 2-pyridylamino, formula II or -A-R<3> [A is O, S, sulfinyl, etc.; R<3> is (lower alkyl, oxo, OH, etc.,-substituted) 5-8C cycloalkyl, tetrahydropyranyl, etc.], etc.} and salts thereof. EXAMPLE:N-(2-Cyclohexyloxy-4-nitrophenyl)methanesulfonamide. USE:A medicine, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic agents having high safety with hardly any side effects, such as disorder in digestive tracts, etc. PREPARATION:A 2-halonitrobenzene is reacted with a compound expressed by formula III (Y is O or S) in the presence of a base to form a compound expressed by formula IV, which is then reduced to afford an amino derivative. The resultant amino derivative is subsequently reacted with a compound expressed by formula V (X is F, Cl, etc.) or formula VI to provide a sulfanilide derivative, which is further nitrated to afford the compound expressed by formula I (R<2> is -A-R<3> and A is O or S). |
