PURPOSE:To secure heat resistance, bending resistance and durability and to enhance sweat adsorbing properties and a feeling in bed by laminating and adhering surface cloth having extensibility to the surface of a resin base material sheet having specific hardness and forming bag-shape air chambers to said sheet on the side opposed to the surface cloth in a thermally welded state. CONSTITUTION:An air mat is formed by laminating and adhering surface cloth 2 having extensibility at least in one direction to the surface of a resin base material sheet 8 having hardness of 60-87 deg. and forming bag-shape air chambers to said sheet 8 on the side opposite to said surface cloth in a thermally welded state. By setting the hardness of the resin base material sheet to 60-87 deg., the heat resistance, bending resistance and durability of the resin base material sheet are effectively utilized and proper flexibility is imparted to the air mat. Further, by laminating and adhering the surface cloth 2 having extensibility to the surface of the resin base material sheet 8, the surface cloth 2 gets intimate with the resin base material sheet 8 while absorbs sweat from a patient to follow the movement of the resin base material sheet 8 and the air chambers 5 are sufficiently flexible to enhance a feeling in bed. |
