PURPOSE:To combine the subroutine of a microcomputer incorporated in a camera in desired order and to continuously execute it by making the camera continuously communicate with an external device according to a command from the external device. CONSTITUTION:The external device 2 is attachably and detachably connected to the camera 1 provided with a CPU 10 consisting of a one-chip microcomputer and the CPU 10 has a programs for controlling various actions of the camera 1 as the subroutine. The camera 1 is provided with an external(EXT) terminal 3 and is connected to the external device 2 through the EXT terminal 3, so that the CPU 10 of the camera can communicate with the CPU 4 of the external device. Thus, the camera 1 can continuously communicate with the external device 2 according to the command from the external device 2 and the incorporated subroutine can be combined in desired order by the external device 2 so as to be continuously executed. Besides to that, the content of a RAM which stores the parameter of the incorporated subroutine can be controlled from the external device 2 and the function can be easily extended. |
