ACCUMULATOR HAVING OPERATIONAL ABNORMALITY DETECTING FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To provide an accumulator which can remotely check an operational abnormality of the accumulator by detecting the motion of a diaphragm in the accumulator by electric detecting means including a lead switch to operate a display device or an alarm device. CONSTITUTION:An accumulator has a diaphragm 6 airtightly and slidably mounted in a cylindrical main body 1 which is divided into an oil pressure chamber A communicating with a joint portion 2 for supplying and discharging pressure oil and a gas chamber B communicating with an air valve 5. The central portion of a cover 3 is provided with a cylindrical housing 7 projected into the gas chamber B, to which a switch case 9 having a built-in lead switch 8 is fitted. A magnet 10 interlocking with the diaphragm 6 is disposed on the outer periphery of the housing 7. The lead switch 8 is turned off by the abnormal range of a stroke of the diaphragm 6, and display means (not shown) is adapted to display such abnormality.
