The invention relates to a hitch for vehicles, having a spherical neck which, in a position of use, penetrates a through-opening in a piling component and which, in an out-of-use position, is accommodated so as to be invisible from the outside, a socket being unnoticeably arranged in the vicinity of the flap and being connected to the electrical system of the vehicle. According to the invention, the socket is arranged on the flap, the coupling of the flap and the installation position of the socket being matched to one another in such a way that in the course of the opening movement of the flap the socket can be transferred out of the unnoticeable position of rest into an easily accessible position of use.
