The invention relates to a spot-type disc brake, particularly for motor vehicles, with two supporting parts which are arranged at a distance apart in the direction of a secant to the brake disc and have wall surfaces that face away from one another and wall surfaces which face one another radially to the outside of the circumference of the brake disc, and with a brake shoe that is guided on the supporting parts in such a way that it can be displaced in the direction of braking contact and has a carrier plate with a head, on which plate the brake shoe can be supported in both circumferential directions and radially towards the inside, and that is connected in a positive-locking manner to the supporting parts in the circumferential direction of the brake disc such that, at least in the case of relatively high brake application forces, the circumferential force arising at the brake shoe is transmitted to both supporting parts.
