A tire slippage preventing device (10) for preventing slippage of the tire of a tire assembly (34) of a vehicle put in a running situation on a snowy road or the like is provided with an arm (16), a base portion (16A) of the arm (16) being mounted to a side of the tire assembly (34), and the intermediate portion (16B) of the arm (16) being flexed so that the end portion (16C) thereof is disposed onto an outer periphery of the tire. The arm (16) has such a reinforcement member (32) as a wire burried therein, so that the end portion (16C) of the arm (16) is prevented from such a deformation as to be separated largely from the tire and it is kept from hitting the vehicle body.
